My favorite movie is Funny Face, where we are encouraged to Think Pink! Give your inner Audrey that same message with this lovely Swirly Pearl Set. I had a strand of faux pearls that called to me for a jewelry set.
I wrapped 16-gauge steel wire into a round shape with swirls to insert the pearls into. Then I added burgundy tissue paper dipped in encaustic medium to give the pendant some pop. This dimensional pendant measures 2 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 wide. I strung the pink pearls onto coated copper wire for a whimsical pair of matching earrings.
The pendant comes with a black satin cord, pictured is a 16″ cord. See other available lengths in the additional information tab and please specify the length you would prefer by filling out “Additional Order Notes” during checkout. Pair this set with the matching spiral bangle!
Encaustics should be cared for as you would for any fine art piece. Encaustic derives from the word “burn in” and is a process of applying molten wax colors to a surface for the creation of images or decoration that began more than 2 millennia ago with Roman Egyptian wax portraits.
