A few Fridays ago I visited Navy Pier for the Annual Flower and Garden show.
First I had to take a ride on the Ferris Wheel of course.
I spun by the stained glass museum and as I walked aaaaallll the way to the end of the pier, discovered a modern stained glass section.

Then I took in the bounty of tulips.
The scents were almost intoxicating.
Some look almost like roses.
Others seem painted.
This one is named after my business. 😉
Dutch names were well-represented.
But other nations were represented too.
I also admired the lovely decorative displays put on by various sponsors.
I love this garden creature and couldnâ€™t tell who made it.
Since I donâ€™t have a garden, it was fairly easy to refrain from putting my wallet on a sudden diet.
These ornaments caught my attention.
Anyone up for truly floral garments?
The children got to make flowers in a play area.
I saw some terrarium inspiration.
It was an afternoon to be treasured.
