New Pendants for Indian Summer

I’m enjoying an extended birthday celebration, but also had time to make a few new pieces in the studio recently.  Inspired by Bead & Button, I finally incorporated some pieces from prior Milwaukee trips. My new ovals are particularly inspiring.

A tiny oval helped me create this wrap around a vintage rose pendant. I wanted to see how well the Parawire adheres to the encaustic.

So adorable! I am pleased to know that the glossy Parawire still adheres well to encaustic.

A green butterfly got new pink wings, and various beads and charms were redesigned.

I purchased hedgehog beads with a special friend in mind, and finally made her these clip-on earrings upon her move to Ferndale.

Sometimes I go off-jig, when I need a slightly bigger size between the rounds from Now That’s A Jig!

I am also working on some local angels, and one dark heart angel that was suggested at last year’s Ravenswood ArtWalk.

A leftover stake class sample was dressed in a musical outfit.

These will be available at the September 12 Girls Nite Out event in Elmhurst’s Wilder Mansion, and ‘leftovers’ will come with me to the Ravenswood ArtWalk that following weekend.

More details on those events to come in September!
