Are you more inclined to go for the treat instead of the trick this Halloween?
Express your sweet personality with this whimsical wax and wire Halloween pendant.
A piece of white felt cut in the shape of a wrapped candy was embedded in encaustic medium and attached to orange handmade paper, also dipped in wax. The collage was adhered to a steel wire rectangle that measures 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 7/8 inches high. The pendant comes with a black satin cord. Check out the rest of the Halloween Collection.
Encaustics should be cared for as you would for any fine art piece. Encaustic derives from the word “burn in” and is a process of applying molten wax colors to a surface for the creation of images or decoration that began more than 2 millennia ago with Roman Egyptian wax portraits.
